We hope that you’ll join us on Friday, February 26th for The Time Out Critics’ Choice, Monkey Toast: The Improvised Chat Show at The Proud Archivist!
This month we’re thrilled to have welcome special guests, comedian Colin Leggo, and QVC presenter !
Cornish comedian Colin Leggo is well known for his unique take on Cornish culture through his popular Youtube channel. Several of his videos have gone viral, including Grand Theft Cornwall, a parody of the well known game and Cornish Is, made popular by Scott Mills on Radio 1. Colin was nominated for “Best Debut Show” for Legoland at the 2015 Leicester Comedy Festival.
Jessica Mandeville is an international presenter on both QVC and The Home Shopping Network. Last time she was on the show, Jess gave David some great tips on how to achieve perfect eye brows. Who knows what tips she’ll share this time around.
Colin and Jess will be interviewed by two-time Canadian Comedy Award winner, David Shore. The Monkey Toast Players will then use the interview as a springboard for their improvised scenes. The show will then go back and forth between interview and improv.
Featuring: Paul Foxcroft, Briony Redman, Susan Harrison, Rachel Parris, and Phil Mann.
